Wondering if the Apple Store brick and mortars are stocking any of the new MBAs with 4GB of RAM.

It really depends on your local store. Mine where I lived carried different configurations but I know some stores that do not. I think it regardless if sold in a store its still considered a custom job which I think changes your time trial on where can bring it back but I could be wrong.

Based upon past history, I doubt that Apple Retail Stores will have 4GB models immediately. I would think that they are BTO right now, but will appear in stores when Apple catches up on initial demand. But, I hope that I am wrong on this and that the 4 GB models show up today.;)

Apple stores generally only carry the stock models and going to 4GB means going to a Build to Order.
