Apple Studio Display (2022) order thread.

Hello forum members, in the light of the recent lockdown in Shanghai leading to disruption in global and Apple's supply chain, can we have an order thread where we can track the shipping information of our ordered Apple Studio Display.

Please share as many details as you're comfortable with like country of origin and logistics etcetera and yes, you can also add details of Mac Studio in order to get a sense of the logistics.

I ordered my Studio Display with standard glass and a VESA mount on March 9th.

This morning I got shipment notice, it is shipping from California to me in Alaska via FedEx overnight!

Yes, I said FedEx!
 
I ordered the Studio Display with standard glass and tilt + height stand on March 9th with date window 14 - 25 april. The status on the Apple website is still "processing" and my credit card still didn't get charged, tired of refreshing and waiting for movement... o_O

Apple usually delivers on the first given date, but seems like this time will be an exception. Thanks for sharing

I ordered the same day as you in the US, same model (standard glass, tilt+height) and my dates are May 6th to the 20th :oops:

I ordered Nano with Tilt and Height on day 1. ETA is April 7th - April 14th.
No Movement Still Processing. No Charges yet. Hoping to get tracking tomorrow with overnight for Thursday...
Also Checking Stores but this hasn't been in stock near me..
 
Ordered a pair of ASD Standard Glass VESA Mount on March 31st with scheduled delivery for May 27 - June 13. Then on Sat April 9 went to Best Buy and I was able to order the same ASDs VESA Mount with store pickup for April 20th. I haven’t canceled my order with Apple but I will as soon I get the ASDs from Best Buy next Wednesday April 20th.
 
Ordered tilt/height almost immediately after ordering opened, and a second a few hours later after being talked into it. First arrived today with a 7-14 estimate, second one estimated to arrive between 14-21, but still in processing as of now.

I ordered a nano texture VESA mount and was quoted April 7-14. It’s been stuck on “preparing to ship” since Saturday. Ideally I’d like to compare it with the standard height-adjustable that I found in a store before the return window expires, though if other reviews of the nano are accurate I’ll be probably keep the standard.
 
I FINALLY got a shipping notice at 9:38pm for my VESA-mount nano-texture. It arrives Thursday, which gives me all of a few hours Friday to decide whether to keep the height-adjustable standard display or return it.

Please keep us posted how it goes for you. It's really strange as your shipping window has almost expired.

Awesome! Apple Studio Display is no where available in my country apart from Apple's own online store.

Still not arrived yet (today being 13.Apr.22), and still stuck on "Processing"
 
I had to return my ASD with a fault. Aftersales support saud that my replacement would be a priority delivery and has been escalated as such but now they are saying that even with a priority replacement scheduled there is no guarantee due to severe stock shortages so my replacement date is 13th-27th June. Stock is filtering through to the Apple retail stores on a weekly basis so that may be my best option.

Have you contacted Apple and inquired about it?

Well, on the other hand Aus folks were the one to get Mac Studio and ASD as the first customers back in march.

Hope you get it early though.

The whole supply chain and logistics is in shambles.

Yes, I called today and they said "Escalated to Order Support Team, who will contact [me] within the next 48 hours".

(Semi-) interesting tidbit: they said that because it had a VESA mount it was going to come to me directly from the factory, which they said was in the *UK* (I was expecting them to say the factory in 'China'). Obviously the displays themselves won't be manufactured in the UK, but I found it interesting as presumably this therefore means that they have some sort of localised assembly / configuration centre (for the UK at least). I might be the only one that finds this interesting lol
