Hi all, I saw a thread on Reddit saying that Apple was sending out surveys to buyers of the iMac Pro, asking about features that matter most to them etc.

I recently had one sent to me after I purchased the new 2018 MacBook Pro a couple of weeks after they were released. Just wondering if anyone else has had the same email?

Questions were mostly along the lines of how satisfied I am, however a few interesting ones were the features that mattered most to me when buying, and what I'd like to see added and/or improved in future. Thought this was quite interesting as (long shot, I know) it might mean that Apple are beginning to listen to the cries of their customer base. For example, a few of the options for some questions were "Better battery life", "more I/O ports" and a few other things that forums like this seem to crave.

I just got one yesterday, though I've not decided if I wanted to do it or not.

I admit I was unsure whether it was worth doing or not. I can't see Apple ever, for example, going against the "thin & lightweight" drive for the MBP (which, for the record I quite like). It does perhaps show that they're looking into where some of the R&D should go though.

While overall I am very happy with my MBP, the heat, and the keyboard are the sticking points for me. With the 3rd gen keyboard, I'm hoping for a fairly durable keyboard, so that leaves the heat.

Well if people don't say 'enough with the thin and light' then they definitely won't change their direction on it!

The survey has questions about your thoughts of the new keyboard, Touch Bar, etc. Now's the time to be heard. I believe the survey is a sign that Apple really knows they have a customer satisfaction issue with their pro computers that is evidenced by declining sales numbers.
