With the rumors heating up on the upcoming Apple Tablet, the exact positioning of the device is still unclear. Do you think it can fill any void in your home theatre setup? Will it be a small scale of an Laptop or a larger scale iPhone or iPod Touch device?

I think it will have integration capabilities, streaming features, etc. I do not think it will be an Apple TV replacement of sorts.

If it comes with HDMI it will mean it is made for HT.

Don't see what you mean. Why would a Tablet have HDMI? That would make it an ATV replacement that is most inconvenient. the whole idea of tablet is light/convenient/portable- having to connect/disconnect to the TV is rather odd.

Wouldn't it be better integrating it with iTunes and the ATV?

Having said that, I am not even sure why you would want to do that.

Any ideas?

Lots of electronics are getting HDMI connections. Just because it has an HDMI connection, doesn't mean it's an ATV replacement. It just means you can hook it up to a nice TV if you want to show off a video, pics, or a website.
