Someone on another site posted this link and I really have difficulty believing that it is true:

https://www.digitalmusicnews.com/2017/12/06/apple-terminate-music-downloads/

From the article:

"Apple has told DMN that no such phase-out plan exists. One source has repeatedly insisted that the plan not only exists, but that it is ‘on schedule,’ or even ahead of the original schedule."

??? I suspect that many, many Apple consumers would be very unhappy if this turns out to be true and develops into reality.......

I don’t buy it. And if they were to do that, then cellular companies would have to allow unlimited streaming or something.

That won't happen neither, since it would cost an arm and and leg to provide as much data as you can have over cellular. Which is why u have 22Gig limits. Less costly to provide truly unlimited data over fixed services.

If Apple did remove downloads of music i don' t a major issue, because the focus anyway in this day and age is streaming.... Its only Apple that is not proving this remember , so if u don't like it, go somewhere else..

We just don't like change at all. However, downloads are probably what keeps music industry happy and they would be more reluctant to steam, but won't blink an eye at downloading.
