Does anyone know how Apple handles crediting your Apple Card back after they've already paid you your cash back?

I bought the iPhone 11 Pro Max and used my Apple Card to pay to get 3%. I also selected trade-in of an old iPhone. Since the purchase, I received my cash back on my Apple Cash card for the full price I paid for the iPhone. I've also since sent in my trade-in and within a few weeks I expect to get $600 credit back on my Apple Card. But since Apple paid me my cash back, how will it be managed?

Will they deduct the (already paid) cash back from the $600?
Will they try to reverse the cash back amount from my Apple Cash card?
Will they just pay me the $600 back in some other form of credit such as an iTunes card, Gift card, or credit to my Apple Cash?

Anyone have experience or knowledge about this?

I just to my refund this morning and they will just charge the adjustment amount onto your Apple Card. They do not deduct it from the Apple Cash card.

I got my trade-in refund this morning and they charged me the amount previous for the daily cash. So it was whole refund for the trade-in and then a charge for the daily cash previously paid.
