Apple TV 2 Jailbroken

Hi,

If I wish to have Apple TV 2 jailbroken, is it best to have a older iOS version? Currently I see some Apple TV 2 jailbroken on eBay. I assume the are probably using the better firmware or iOS than the current latest one?

ATV2 4.4.3 is a Tethered Jailbreak.

Release of 4.3 / 4.2.2 is untethered.

Difference. Tethered means when you need to restart your ATV you need to connect it to your Mac/PC to restart it.

So the ones your seeing are probably untethered.

Preference is all yours...
