Hello,
I at the moment am unable to find my apple tv remote? Is there anything I can do about this? (besides find it). I have an ipod touch if there is an app for it? And is there a way to get a replacement by chance if i can't find it (i assume it shall be found... but i'm looking).

The Remote app is great but there could be a problem. In order for the Remote app to find your Apple TV Home Sharing must already be on. So if you already have Home Sharing on then get the app and your good to go. If not then you must have the actual remote to turn Home Sharing on. Remember an Apple remote, even old plastic ones, from Mac computers also work.

the apple remote app will let you control your ATV 2 from your ipod touch and you can use the custom remote feature to have the Apple TV learn commands from any remote. As for getting a replacement if you can't find the original I doubt that they will just give you one (you never know with apple though so you might as well try your luck.) but they do sell them separately for $19. Here is the link to it on apple's online store:

You should also be able to find them in places that sell apple products like Best Buy.
