Okay I have installed the Pandora Radio Script for XMBC on my Apple TV 2. The script appears to be running, I see the Pandora Radio logo, but I can't log in.:mad::mad:

The error message I am getting is "Failed to Authenticate listener. Check username/password and try again. Show Settings"?

I know I am entering my correct Pandora credentials as I checked them on my Mac after getting this message.

I have replaced the crypt_key_input.h and crypt_key_output.h files from the "libpiano" download, but still can't log into Pandora.

Ideas anyone? So close to getting this working on my Apple TV 2. What a pain just to get audio on XBMC :(

There's a fix over in the XBMC forums. Will post the link when I get chance.

EDIT: Here's the link for the thread. Read from post 388 on....

So it was working good since my last post but today the script appears to be crashing. It will play music for five minutes or so then xbmc resets and I end up at the "main menu" (low tide I guess?).

Anyone else having problems with Pandora lately?

I just listened to a few songs in a row & it worked fine. Will leave it playing & see what happens. Did you make any changes to your XBMC settings recently? I have noticed that some Add-ons are kind of finicky and crash after making seemingly minor changes. I have not seen that issue with this specific Add-on though.

I have not mad any changes. Were you able to keep it running?

I have read elsewhere that I should download the nightly build but I don't know how to. Do you?

Yes, I actually left it playing for a few hours. Weird that you are having problems out of the blue like that. I assume you have already tried rebooting. If you continue to have problems, I would suggest turning on debugging then posting your log file over at the XBMC forums (in that Pandora thread). There are instructions in the "stickies" as to how to post a log file & what else you need to post for someone to be able to assist. People over there are generally pretty helpful if you provide enough details on the problem.

So for anyone still following the saga, I learned from a thread at the XBMC forum that when a new IPSW is available for the Apple TV2, the constant "checking in" with Apple causes XBMC to crash. Fortunately NitoTV has (in Cydia) a tweak called "updateBeGone" which has solved my issues.

So if your XBMC is repeatedly crashing, it may be because Apple TV2 is trying to update software.
