Hi everyone,
So I have an Apple TV that I am trying to setup to work with my home network. My setup is a Time Capsule hooked up to the cable modem, then an Airport Extreme (attached through ethernet) that is extended the wireless network from that, and an old linksys box that I have disabled the wireless for that I am using to split an ethernet port on the Time Capsule.
The Apple TV is attached to the linksys, but AirPlay doesn't show up on any of my devices (iMac with with ethernet or iPhone with wifi). When the I hook up the Apple TV through wifi then AirPlay does show up. I am guessing that this is caused by the Apple routers assigning an IP address tarted with "10." while the linksys is assigning the Apple TV an IP address starting with "192." Is there any way to fix this?
