Apple TV 4K - HDR always on?

Hello,

I have Apple TV 4K connected to my Sony 4K TV (XE9005).

My video settings on Apple TV: 4K HDR 60 Hz - Chrome: 4:2:2.

I noticed that I have always HDR signal even content which I currently watch on for example Netflix is in SDR.

Is it normal? How do you deal with it? Do you switch HDR only if content is in HDR?
