Apple TV 4th Gen & HPM

I’m having a hard time figuring out compatibility.

Will an Apple TV 4th Gen (not 4K) be able to have a HomePod Mini had the default audio output?

Ive updated both devices to 15.0, but the HMP does not show up as an option.

I’ve rebooted all 3 now, HomePod Mini still does not show as an option. I can select it as a temporary source.

I’ve mostly convinced myself that the 4th Gen (Bluetooth 4.0) is excluded from having the HomePod mini as default audio.

If anyone disagrees, let me know. I’ll mess around a bit more before returning my HPM. Thanks
