Apple TV accessing Computer TV files?

Is it possible for Apple TV to access the TV files from my iTunes library that's shared from my computer? It seems to only be able to access movies and music and I have to move TV files to movies to work around it.

The Atv will play tv shows that are under tv shows in iTunes. On the Atv when you go to computers if tv shows isnt listed try a restore or maybe call apple

TV isn't shown, just Music & Movies, playlist, top songs, etc.
