Hey guys,

Do you know whether it is possible to use AirPlay feature on the iPad 2 and to stream webpages to the Apple TV.

I just want to be able to enjoy, for instance, reading news on my HDTV. Is that possible? Or does it stream only videos, music and pictures?

Thank you in advance.

Apple tv and content via Safari

I know that your question was iPad Safari Airplay streaming. The only way I have foud to accomplish what you a attempting for Safari Video is with the iPad HDMI adapter that mirrors the iPad content to your TV via an HDMI connection.
This requires that you purhase the HDMI adapter of course!

Wirelessly posted (Mozilla/5.0 (iPhone; U; CPU iPhone OS 4_3 like Mac OS X; nl-nl) AppleWebKit/533.17.9 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/5.0.2 Mobile/8F190 Safari/6533.18.5)

Thanks! That was also my main question: to buy a HDMI adapter or an Apple tv in order to use it for browsing. It seems that I might just purchase the adapter, I just really don't like using those cables. Let's hope that an Apple tv 3g will have that functionality.

There really needs to be Airplay capabilities from Safari on iOS devices and from Macs.

3rd party developers such as Rogue Amoeba already stream audio, I would only hope that they or somebody else is working on video as well.
