Apple TV and iPod touch Questions Help?

I have been a Windows fan for quit some time now, but lately i have just become more and more disappointed, and the new Touch is just the thing i have been looking for design as far as design goes, but before i go out and buy one i have a question. If i am not mistaken the Apple Tv connects to your network via WiFi and you can then put your music/videos/pictures on it and view them via your Tv. So my questions is, would it be possible to download a video on your Touch take it over to a friends house, who has a Apple Tv, then send it to the Apple Tv via his WiFi, and watch it on his Tv? I am sorry if this is a dumb questions, but i have search online for quite some time and can't seem to get a answer on this.

Well in that case would it be possible for me to use connect the Touch to my Tv with the A/V cables sold with the iPod? And is it possible to transfer music to the Touch from multiple computers? I know that in the past my friends come over and were unable to upload songs to their iPod without erasing their current library, and if it is possible to get content from multiple computers, what about video?

Again, sorry if my answers seem dumb, I have never owned an iPod.

The ipod touch does had TV A/V out capabilities. I would guess that the ones you have from your old ipod would work.. since it's the same docking port. However, we'd have to wait to see if they kept that the same. I would be guess yes. There are ways to take video from ipods and put them on your library (google hint).

Just take the dive. I did! My girlfriend even switched, and she's stubborn. :-D

so when you buy a track from iTunes on your iPod touch, can you then upload from from the iPod to your main computer i.e. in a direction that you weren't able to move files previously wthout using non-apple software?

Yes, per Steve, at the iPod Touch intro... I think will only apply to songs purchased form the store.
