Apple TV and You Tube problems

I am unable to bring up my You Tube Favorites or Subscriptions on my Apple TV. Both say "No content was found. There is a problem communicating with You Tube. Try again later." This has been going on for a long time. I have tried doing an Apple TV Reset Settings (not the Factory Restore) and also linking my Google account to You Tube and logging in with that, all to no avail. Any suggestions? Thanks...

Join the club. This has been an ongoing issue since at least 2.0 (first version I purchased my AppleTV with).

I`ve never really bothered with youtube on my AppleTV but after reading this I gave it a try. I logged into my account and all my favorites and subscriptions showed up with no problems. I`m running ATV version 2.3.1.

Since this seems to be a common problem does anyone know if Apple is addressing it?
