Apple TV app Horizontal Artwork?

Is it just me or is it impossible to get the horizontal artwork of the new Apple TV apps to display vertically?

I built a collection of almost 1000 movies over 20 years and painstakingly curated the artwork etc and now it's all weird because it's horizontal?

Is there a way to get iTunes on Catalina?

Also is the column browser on the Music app gone too? I can't seem to find it?

You and me both. I have a weird obsession with my Music and Movie artwork. I hate actor names, director, reviews by critics, etc on the artwork. I tend to photoshop most of my artwork on my free time.

Apple needs to revert back to the old style. Movie posters since the dawn of time has always been vertical. Its also not very UX friendly either, the old way had Movies in long vertical artwork with TV Shows as squared artwork, now they're all horizontal which makes it hard to tell which is which at a glance.

Wow I photoshop some of my artwork as well, I'm so OCD with this stuff. We should start a club.

Just as a side-note I've been using Ben Dodson's iTunes artwork grabber for years and he just released one for the horizontal artwork along with all the assets that go with them (the parallax stuff etc) at this link https://bendodson.com/projects/apple-tv-movies-artwork-finder/

If I'm finally forced to upgrade to Catalina I'll manually have to go and upgrade all my artwork to horizontal. And since you can save more than 1 image file in each movie's artwork section you can keep the 'old' vertical ones in case you can or want to revert to them in the future either through apple (doubtful) or another application that still uses vertical. It's just a good idea to keep both.
