Pawn shop. Ebay. Craigslist.

Are you in the US?

The Apple refurbished ATV4k never sells that cheap, I think it is $149 when Apple has them available.

Pawn shop or Craigslist, anything local might work.

Ebay prices really do not go that low for a working ATV4k, at least right now.

The lowest buy-price I see right now $123:

There is listing for a cheaper working one, but the Siri Remote is not included:

Search in your area on Craigslist. Often someone will sell one who isn't really using theirs and may not recognize the value of the device. I bought one (not a 4K one, just the HD model) a year ago for $65. Just make sure you can check it out....check the serial number that it's really the version you want, etc.

It's easy to recognise a 4th Gen and 4k.

4th Gen is around 1.5" thick with a USB-C port on the back.

The 4k is also around 1.5" thick and no USB-C port on the back.

The best I've seen was when some of the streaming/cable services were offering them as part of a pre-pay for a certain time period bundle. I picked up my 4k that through DirecTV Now, prepaid three months at $35 each, so basically paid $105 for my Apple TV 4k (which was an upgrade from a 3rd generation, which I passed on to my parents)

Nope I am not from the U.S but I have someone stationed in the U.S who can ship it to me.

I am finding it extremely difficult to get anything in that price range.

By the way Craiglist is for meeting and then dealing right ? Craiglist is not safe when asking a seller there to ship something in Mail ?

Yes, well, you can make deals prior to meeting. Craigslist and others like it would probably be the cheapest prices, but there are risks involved.

No, I wouldn't ever pay before I got the device using sites like Craigslist. There are no protections nor recourse for the buyer if it doesn't work, not as described, or doesn't show up.

But, that is why the prices would be lower. The buyer expects a great deal in place of the higher risk.

The seller could sell on something like eBay, but there are fees involved, potentially has to deal with returns and other issues, and a lot of the risk shifts to the seller.

You will most likely not be able to find one for the price you are looking for. I would consider spending a little more and go with eBay.

Yes, I would only use Craigslist for buying in person. If the person who would ship it to you is not able to go in person and savvy enough to do the buying, I wouldn't use that option. If I was not in the US and wanted to know I was going to get a reliable and working device, I'd just buy a new one or maybe wait to see if Apple gets any in their refurbished store.
