All my settings are confirmed correct. When I navigate to the "computers" app on Apple TV it shows the songs from Apple Music and TV shows downloaded to my iMac, BUT not he movies. Both the movies and TV shows were downloaded via Apple TV app on the iMac and populate the same media folder that is the default for downloading purchases. When I click "downloaded" on the Apple TV iMac app everything shows up together both TV and Movies. Its just when I go to the "computers" app on Apple TV to launch something only the TV shows show up which play fine.

Can anyone shed some light on this or at least confirm that a downloaded "movie" through desktop Apple TV app shows up on the "computers" Apple TV app?

Ive done plenty of searching and can not find a similar issue where sharing is working but only with TV and songs not movies.

I was able to get a movie tab to appear on the Apple TV by downloading a new movie, but that was the only on that showed up. The other movies were only downloaded a month or so ago so not sure what happened but solution seems to be delete and redownload. I can't figure out how to delete this thread but if someone else wants to by all means go for it.

That's strange. I have over 1200 movies/tv shows on a Mini as a server. Maybe 60 of them were downloaded from Apple and I ripped the others myself. All works fine on two Apple TV's, been using this setup for 7 or 8 years now. However, I run iTunes under Mojave on the server and not the newer media sharing feature.
