Is it possible to get the cover art for display on the Apple TV for movies that I've ripped from my own dvd's rather than buying from the apple store?

I've got stacks of older movies that I'm slowly putting onto the computer to access from the Apple TV, and while it's great that I can just go in and select them from there they just don't show up with the cover art.

It's not a major issue, but they just don't look as good.

Tons of threads on this---try a search for cover art or tagging and should find plenty of info.

If you have a look at the automated ripping sticky it has some scripts to automatically download metadata and cover art for films and TV shows assuming you use the right naming convention.

If you really want to get anal about it, you can get a copy of the official and original movie posters here:

Each movie may have several versions. So, I select the one that appeals to me best.
