I read on several post one can add a movie to itune, sync it to Apple Tv, then find the actual movie file on your pc outside of itunes and delete the file to save some space. This should trick Apple Tv into thinking the movie is still in itunes.
I don't think this is totally true, for the most part most of my movies on Apple Tv are still there. I started to notice today that Apple Tv tried to re-sync some old movies that haven't been watched in a while (about 2 weeks ago). Not able to find the file, Apple Tv decided to delete the movie although the file-less movie entry exist in itune. Not sure if this has to do with version 2.0.
I'm afraid that by the end of the week all my movies synced about two weeks ago will be gone...
Has any one experience the same issue?
