I am not talking about the Apple TV 1st gen nor the 2nd gen.

I am talking about Apple making an actual TV.

Google and Sony came together to put together a Google TV with the built in Google software.

Do you think Apple will make their own TV in the coming future?

No.
The lifespan of most TV panels outlasts the technology of the input/AV devices. Apple will likely remain happy to provide improved "plug-ins".

Besides, can you imagine the "yellow tint" or "dead pixel" issues that would have to endure?
