Apple TV does not show in iTunes

I connected my Apple TV and did the set up. I enabled sharing with my iTunes.
Why does my Apple TV not show in iTunes under appliances?
I can access my iTunes music etc from Apple TV.
Any help?

so you can view all your conent on the ATV?

you just wondering why the ATV its not listing under devices in iTunes?

mine is not listed either is it suppose to?

The AppleTV doesn't show up in iTunes. You have to enable HomeSharing on both the computer with the iTunes and on the AppleTV (Settings--> General) and then your movies and music are accessible through the AppleTV.

Only the original TV showed in iTunes and only if syncing was enabled.

Yes it only shows in iTunes when connected via USB--and that is really only for restoring (and jailbreaking ).
