Apple TV Genius PLaylist? New Firmware?

Does anyone know or think we will get a firmware update soon for the apple tv. I want to to support genius playlist and a better movie searching database would be nice scrolling up and down is getting old.

Any thoughts?

I thought it was odd that iTunes went to 8.0; requiring a Quicktime update, while the AppleTV communicates with iTunes 8.0 untouched.

It needs better integration with the iPhone remote, that would solve plenty of UI problems.

The little white remote is a pain.

I hope so. The remote causes crashes far too often. Also, it needs to organize TV shows by episode number, not date. It's very annoying right now. Photo integration with the remote would be nice as well.

I imagine Genius will make it to the Apple TV.
