That's a SATA drive, not a PATA drive, so you'd have to use an adapter, I don't know if it would fit though.

I've tried the UK's most popular e-commerce for technology (eBuyer) and they don't sell any PATA drives.

I had a quick look on eBay, there are some on there, look to be about £65 for a 500GB. I can't link to any, but just put PATA 500GB in search, theres a few there.

Simple. the eSata mod. The picture suck, but it looks like he is running a sata cable out the back to that external drive.

Couldn't I use the SATA to IDE adapter to copy the ATV's info to my mac with the enclosure? and then use the same adapter to use the disk in the ATV.
