Apple TV in black and white

OK, just picked up an Apple TV and have it set up and sync'd. However, on my 480i SDTV with component video everything is in black and white, including all the Apple TV menus. Any idea what might be going on here? I have the Apple TV set up for 480i.

Is it possible it's only sending out the Luma channel? I don't know which colour that is but I think it's Blue. Is it hooked up to the composite on the back of your TV? That would explain it.

Yes, got it. The problem was that the component cables I bought are too fat to fit securely on the Apple TV. I put an only video/L/R cable and it works just great. That'll save me $10!

I really thought this thread would be about the actual colour of the hardware... in which case, it would be kinda cool to have an Apple TV in black as well.
