Apple TV in Japan

Hello,

Does anyone know if I can stream Netflix in Japan through the Apple TV? I am not able to stream through the Netflix website, because it says I have to be in the US. However, I am able to rent through iTunes because my iTunes account is US - based (with a US credit card).

Netflix operates different. Regardless of payment method, they check the region of their customers based on IP address.

That's sort of what I thought. So there's no difference between Netflix on the web or through Apple TV?

No, but you're better off managing your instant que on your computer. Searching for anything through ATV is a major PITA, IMO
