apple tv issue

hey i have the first gen apple tv on factory settings and everything works perfect untill i update the apple tv to the latest firmware. then i cant find it in itunes anymore.

factory 2.3.1 update to 3.0.2 i think
dlink dir-615
window 7 64 bit with latest itunes 10 64 bit

anyone know why it just isnt showing up when i only update it and connect it back to the network??

i just ended up having both the apple tv and the computer directly wired into the router and it works that way. its strange that it wont work on wireless with the update. its prolly some router setting but i have no idea yet what it is.

My old ATVs worked fine over the wireless. I use a Netgear 3700 and 5GHz 802.11n
I recently sold them both and replaced them with the newer ATV2.

yea i had mine working fine on the updated software back at home then i brought it to work which is just set up as a regular home network and its been nothing but problems :/
