Apple TV keeps quitting and taking me to Airplay

I'm ready to quit Apple TV and just use Roku. I have been streaming a movie on Netflix and 3 times in the first hour it quits the movie and takes me to a screen that says Airplay. I have to go back to the home page, reopen Netflix, and start all over in searching for what I was watching and start it up again. What gives? Why is it doing this and how do I stop it? It has happened pretty much every time I have used the Apple TV this past month. I keep moving my roku from bedroom to this tv so I can watch shows without the constant disconnect. I'd like to keep the Apple Tv but this stinks.

Can only tell that I'm not having that issue, at all. Have you updated to tvOS 11.4?

Someone nearby prob has an Apple TV and is trying to airplay to their’s but yours keeps getting used instead. If you go to Settings/AirPlay you should be able to select “limit connection to people on your network”. See if that helps.
