I have an LG monitor on the wall that I want to use with an Apple TV. The monitor doesn't have any speakers so can I connect an Apple TV to the monitor and use a Bluetooth speaker with the Apple TV while mirroring an iPad or iPhone?

Nope this won’t work, at least I haven’t been able to get it to do this. Even getting audio out of the jack while air playing video doesn’t seem possible. Note, this doesn’t work with airplay speakers either. Basically Apple assume you have speakers plugged into ATV.
