It is probably really simple but my apple tv is giving me an error (-6) when it tries to connect to my verizon wireless router.

I bought an intel Imac about a year ago, and was never able to connect to my router( gave up really fast!), so I have been using it with an ethernet cable all along.

My netgear wireless adapter on my pc hooks up no problem, not sure why my imac & now apple tv don't wanna work?

I have gone into my router configuration page, should wep be enabled, what about mac, they are both disabled right now, again the pc works fine but the imac and apple tv do not.

Any ideas?

It is a westell 327w.

I followed your link but it is now dead, but I will dig a little deeper now that I know it might require a firmware upd.

Thanks

Never mind, I found it following the apple link.

I'm going to install the update now, I'm sure it will work

work fine, gotz music in my bedroom now, that is where my apple tv is, I got a htpc in the living room.

Now to fiddle with my new toy to get all of the video to work, ok maybe I'll wait a bit before I go hacking it
