I have seen large drive Apple TV's on eBay (500GB ,750GB, etc)

At least one auction from the same seller has a 750GB that states internal drive.

Is this technically possible? How stable has the PATA-SATA adapters been working.

I have a 320GB Apple TV and it is full. I am looking to upgrade it my self or buy another one.

Yes those are legit :) - I have a 500GB Apple TV on the way - I'm not sure what the largest size is these days but 500 and 750GB are made large enough to fit inside the Apple TV

IMHO the better and easier way is to just add an external USB drive. Takes 2 minutes, and you do not void your warranty.
The larges drive, as far as I know is 500 GB.

500 yes. 750 pata ? haven't seen one, at the very least it would be thicker if it even existed so doubt it would be internal.

I am still waiting to see a link to a 750 GB drive that fits inside the atv. Could exist but I have not seen it nor a link to one.
