Just passing an interesting experience I had last night.

I purchased an HD movie and got about 25% downloaded, while watching it, and my wife switched from my login to hers (actively, without logging me out) at our Mac, upstairs. So at some point the Apple TV informs me it is unable to download the movie and I find that I no longer have internet connectivity at the Apple TV. After checking the Mac and finding out about the wife's work on the computer, I asked her to switch back to my login and sure enough the Apple TV started to work fine again. Movie downloaded no problems.

I thought the :apple:TV was indepently accessing iTunes and downloading movies?

Do you have your AppleTV synced or streamed?

The movie was purchased on the AppleTV and not the computer correct? Im not sure if you can transfer a movie to the AppleTV until its completely downloaded... never tried it.

Are you signed into the iTunes store on the AppleTV?

Is the AppleTV wired or wireless?

(I dont know if any of the above would effect it, just the things I would check first with what information you have given...)
