Apple TV price drop in Aussie

The above link shows a price drop in an Australian store. Does anyone know if I buy tv in aussie, is there any reason it will not work on my mac in New Zealand. It is very difficult to get any substantial discounts on Apple products here in NZ, but prices in Australia seem to be more varied? comments appreciated.

Hi, I am using a Apple TV bought in Hong Kong in Australia with UK i Tunes and it all works fine, so go ahead!

by the way when I was home in the UK at xmas I went to the apple store to buy something and noticed loads of people picking up Apple TV's.. just an observation!

Not much of a price drop!

I was lucky enough to pick one up store demo stock for $140 - they seem to have stopped stocking them on the floor of most Australian retailers around October last year (ie; Kmart, Myers etc..)

Still overpriced @$329 for 40GB model (note-this is Apple Au store price too) imho but a great little unit, if only they'd appear on the Refurb store more often.

I'd agree there seems no obvious reason why an Aus one shouldn't be fine in NZ but don't speak from direct experience..
