Apple tv recognized as 2nd gen

My Mac pro is recognizing my 3rd gen apple tv as the 2nd gen. Is this with anyone else too? It's clearly the 3rd in the settings menu.

It seems to be working fine with my macbook pro and broadcasting in full 1080p. Where are you looking in OSX that it is telling you that it is 2nd Gen?

In iTunes when I was trying to link up my iPhoto library it says that it can share to my 2nd gen Apple TV. I'm away from the computer right now but I believe it was in the advanced menu.
