Is it Possible to Connect an External HD to an Apple Extreme Base Station, Then have the Apple TV 2G stream Content from that.

Im Willing to do anything :)

Yes, but you'll have to Jailbreak and install something like XBMC.

I run XBMC on my ATV2, and all my media is held on my Time Capsule and also on my Windows server.

Thank you very much :)

Can I stream Content from a Hard Drive connected via USB to the Airport Extreme Base Station?

Yes, you can, but not with Apple's own software. You'll need some other software on the ATV2 to be able to do this.

Yes.

Just be aware XBMC is still in beta on the ATV2, and some stuff is very much broken. The version I have doesn't play music, for example. I'm sure there's a newer version, but I haven't updated in months as I just use the ATV2 for videos.
