Apple TV Stuttering after Yosemite Install

After Yosemite install on my late 2012 iMac, my Apple TV has started stuttering when streaming video from my iMac to the TV. I have to stop and start airplay a few times before it goes away. Never had this problem with Mavericks. Anyone else experiencing this or have a solution? Thanks!

Is your apple TV on WiFi because I was having that issue and moved it to a wired connection and its fine now. I know thats not always possible but seemed to fix the issue.

It is on wifi, I'll give your suggestion a try, thanks. It's unfortunate that this problem hasn't been fixed yet because it worked fine before the Yosemite update
