Would it be possible to play a rented movie through a Direct TV Tivo and record the rented movie. I know this is a long shot but what do yall think?
 
Not to be a party crasher, but to copy rented movies would be illegal, and it is against the forum rules to discuss ways to pirate movies here.
 
If you are asking if you can record an iTunes rental to your Tivo so you can watch it again later, I am thinking not since the :apple:tv only outputs in component or HDMI and I do not think your Tivo unit has either standard as an input.
