Okay I just bought an Apple TV 3rd gen) and an iPad 3. The night I got them they both worked fine with AirPlay and all that. Today I try to use airplay and, well, no luck. My wifi is fine, my iPad 3 is able to connect to wifi, as is my apple tv, and my iPad 1 and my two iPhone 4's are able to connect just fine to wifi, but none of them can get AirPlay.

Anybody have any solutions? Connecting my apple tv to Ethernet is not an option, so posting that is moot.

I hear the new iPads and apple tvs are having some problems, perhaps this is but one of them?

Well, the Internet issue is fixed. But since this couldn't be THAT easy, I know have another problem.

My iPad 3 connects fine to AirPlay, but my iPad 1 is able to "connect" to the Apple TV, but in my photos app there is no AirPlay button, nor does it show up on the tv. In the videos app, I can't watch my videos because it says it is playing on the Apple Tv, but it isn't, and eventually it just says the operation cannot be completed.

The hell is wrong?

try unplugging your modem and router and plug them back in...thats how i get mine to work when it doesnt
