Apple TV - update hardware with SSD drive

Does anyone have an opinion if the Apple TV would ever be upgraded to include an SSD drive instead of a conventional hard drive?
If Apple don't do it, will I be able to do it myself?

I think I will wait a while until SSD's are 'standard' and a bit cheaper with better capacity. Might be a while, at least i now know it can be done...

What would be the advantage of an ssd in the apple tv?

In theory it would load faster and run quieter.
