This is the one I bought ... Micro USB Cable and it is only $5. However, you should know that if you have upgraded your Apple TV to version 4.4, you have to do a tethered boot to jailbreak it right now. That means that if you unplug it or the power goes out you will need to do another tethered boot jailbreak again. I hope that they fix that soon ...

If I remember correctly, it's just so you can hook it up to a computer for a firmware update in case an over the air one doesn't work. It's not a functional USB port in the typical sense as in extra storage or to move files around. :( Someone please correct me if I am wrong but I'm pretty sure this is the case.

I just tried to jailbreak my new ATV with the link just above and got the following error:
The Apple TV "Apple TV" could not be restored. An unknown error occurred (9).

Followed the link to the Apple support page and could be a number of things. Will post back if I get it resolved. Edit: Tried again and now the update server was unavailable.

I got the same error at the very end from iTunes, but the ATV2 was jailbroken and fully operational.

Started the process again with it plugged in and the usb connected the whole time. Woke uo, turned it on and saw the FC in the bottom right corner. Must have been saying the right prayers last night. Will figure the rest out tonight...
