Last night I changed my Apple TV resolution from 720p to 480p and as a result the only vision I get on my screen is video snow. Using the remote I can still hear the clicking of menus being navigated so the Apple TV is not frozen. The connection to my projector is HDMI to DVI. Has anyone else come across this problem? I can't find any reference to it on Apple's support pages.

i had this happen once. i unplugged power cord from back of appletv and plugged it back in after a min, voila it was gone
Yes, that worked for me in the past too but I'd rather not be doing it while the hard drive is spinning; it could get corrupted. Do you use the HDMI output too?
