Apple TV videos (audio through Airport Express?)

Wondering if there's a way to play my videos through my Apple TV using my Airport Express for sound? Or is the Airport Express simply for music? My stereo doesn't have an optical audio input.

If the problem is that the ATV2 doesn't have analog audio out, a better solution would be an optical to analog converter, like this:
