Title says it all.

Won't respond to any remote.

removed power cord and replugged into power.

NO LIGHT!!!

NO NOTHING!!!!

Any ideas????

EDIT: I have two remotes - both function with iMac frontpage and neither are paired!!!!

If you pulled the plug, you should at least see the start up movie again no?

Is the ATV getting any power (does it get hot if you plug it in)?

I know something is 'getting power' becaue when I connect the power cord I can hear a small pop as the connection is made.

I think it is plain DEAD ! :(

EDIT: Went to Apple Store with DEAD Apple TV - Even though it was outside the " 14 Day Return Window " the did a return on the dead unit and sold me a new unit on the spot!!!!!

APPLE SERVICE Has to be one of the best I have ever dealt with !!!!!!!!!

I'm having the EXACT SAME issue with mine right now. Hopefully they will allow me to exchange mine as well. I have had it for a couple of months though... CRAP!

well, the apple tv does come with the one year warranty on hardware and software, so you should be in good hands, mine just died probably due to the recent rolling blackouts over the past few days (like 20 blackouts, some for minutes and some for hours on end). Yet, i did get the apple care warranty on this one so it should be in good hands.:D
