So I rented the new Robin Hood movie the other week ... And I did not have the time at all to watch it as soon as it finished downloading ...
Last night I decide that Im going to watch at last Robin Hood ... I open up the TV and Apple TV2 ... I see that I have 19 days left to start watching Robin Hood ... I select the movie and press start to play ... the screen goes black .. then takes me back to the main menu .... I try again and again ... and I always end up at the main menu ...

Then I notice that Robin Hood is missing in the top movies section ... (witch is weird because its still a relatively new movie ...) So I do a search for the movie .. and to my surprise ... its nowhere to be found on the iTunes store (from apple TV) ....

Whats happening ... I cant look at my rented movie ???

You have 30 days from the time of rental to watch your movie, and 24 hours (in the US) or 48 hours (elsewhere) after you've started viewing to finish it. Once the rental period expires, the movie will disappear from your iTunes library.

So you started watching it a few weeks ago. That started the 24/48 hour countdown.

Re-read the original post. He did not start watching it until last night. It shows "19 days remaining" to start watching it.

I'd suggest emailing iTunes support. Perhaps they can see what is going on on their end.
