Apple Tyson's Corner in Virginia opens tommorow and the new design is simply stunning! It's fitting that the next generation of Apple Retail starts where Apple Retail started 22 years ago. Here's a couple of great sites that go over the design in-depth.

I was lucky enough to be there in 2001, now that was exciting. First of its kind. While I can appreciate the new minimalistic design, it just doesn’t evoke that same wow feeling.

It's incredible how far Apple Stores have evolved. From mall stores meant to put the Mac at the forefront because Steve wasn't happy at how retailers like CompUSA weren't doing a good job selling Macs, to now becoming social spaces. You can also see the subtle change from the 2001 store to the 2023 store, as it's much bigger now, just like Apple.
