Apple Updated SIRI Voice?

Hello

This morning I used Siri and to my surprise, the voice was the old monotone Siri (the low quality one).
So I went to my Siri voice settings and it said that it woud download the English (American) voice when the phone connects to Wifi. I connected it to wifi and it started downloading.

I think the Siri voice now is a little bit better, with better enunciation.

Anyone else encounter this today? I am in Canada.

I've had situations where the higher-quality voice wasn't available for whatever reason. I think I chalked it up to the state of my own device (attempting to conserve available storage, I hypothesized) rather than some kind of widespread status thing.

Australian English voice changed a few months ago and it's far more natural and softer now. I use the male voice.
