iPhone 15 Pro Max Apple Upgrade Program Pickup Orders Tax Charge still pending?

I’m due to Pick Up my IPhone 15 Pro Max tomorrow on Launch Day Friday September 22nd at 8:30. I was charged the sales tax on Sunday but that charge is still pending. I am wondering if this is normal. Thanks. It says my order will be ready for pickup soon.

I think pickups stay pending until the item is picked up. Shipped orders stay pending until the item ships
