Still considering whether to continue in the upgrade program that I have been in for the past two years.

It's good to know that those of us who are moving from the iPhone 14 Pro Max 256 to the iPhone 15 Pro Max 256 will not be paying more.

However, there's a question of surcharges.

For the past two years, I remember being hit with an extra payment surcharge when renewing and doing an upgrade through the program.

I thought at first it had to do with the extra month it took for the past iPhones to go on sale. Perhaps that was the reason. And in that case, SURCHARGE is the wrong word. We were just paying for the extra month of ownership.

My question is, is there some sort of extra payment surcharge expected for anyone continuing with the upgrade program and going from a 14 to a 15?

And of course, we all know, the phone companies will surcharge for activation.

No, there isn't a "surcharge" to upgrade. If I remember correctly, in the past the phones were released a little later, hence the extra payment. This year, you'll just make 1st month payment when you sign up.
