I ordered an Apple USB-C 2m cable for my iPad Pro and, to my surprise, the cable is thicker than the standard 1m Apple cable included with the iPad Pro. Also, more importantly, the plastic around the metal part of the connector is also thicker. Because of this it will not connect to my iPad because the hole in my case is not wide enough to fit it.

Are there multiple versions of the Apple 2m cable, or are all of them thicker than the 1m version? I never had this issue with lightning cables - 2m and 1m lightning cables are the same thickness. I don’t want to switch to another case and I also do not want to purchase a third party cable.
